When the Tonbridge & District Table Tennis League agreed to merge with
Tunbridge Wells, they agreed to a name change. Up to and including the 2008/9 Season, the League was the Tonbridge &
District Table Tennis League, but after this season, it became the Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells Table Tennis League.
